Abstract:According to standard GB223.37-89, diluted nitric acid was used to dissolve the samples and EDTA was used as a masking agent. In the ammonium acetate-acetic acid (pH4.5) buffer solution, 8-hydroxyquinoline and molybdenum formed a yellow precipitate. The precipitate was dried to be anhydrous hydroxyquinoline salt [MoO2(C9H6NO)2] and its weight was measured. The optimal testing conditions including the pH value at which precipitation occurred, aging time and the amount of precipitant were selected. At last, a fast, accurate and economic analysis method was developed. This method has high precision and good accuracy and fully meets the requirements for production analysis.
