Chinese Journal of Inorganic analytical chemistry (ISSN 2095-1035, CN 11-6005/O6, CODE: ZWFHAZ) was founded in 2011 (changed to bimonthly in 2018 and monthly in 2023). It is the only professional academic journal dedicated to the field of inorganic analytical chemistry, sponsored by BGRIMM Technology Group and supervised by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. It is a Chinese core journal (chemistry, crystal) and published by the editorial department of  Chinese Journal of  Inorganic Analytical Chemistry.

1. Aims and Scope

Chinese Journal of Inorganic Analytical Chemistry reports on the research achievements and work trends of inorganic analytical chemistry, exchanges research experience in inorganic analytical chemistry, serves the technology promotion and scientific research production of inorganic analytical chemistry, promotes the improvement of the quality of inorganic analytical chemistry workers, and promotes the development and progress of the inorganic analytical chemistry technology industry. Facing the forefront of international inorganic analytical chemistry science, paying attention to the hot topics of inorganic analytical chemistry technology, focusing on advanced analytical methods for strategic minerals, analysis and detection of toxic and harmful substances, food safety testing, and other innovations. Key research papers with exploratory and innovative focus on non-destructive testing, elemental imaging, metabolomics, in-situ and elemental speciation analysis techniques, isotope analysis techniques, persistent new organic pollutant analysis techniques, ecological and environmental remediation techniques, and the development of key element analysis reference materials. Timely reflect the forward-looking and original research results of experimental testing technology applied to solve key scientific problems in the fields of environment, strategic minerals, metallurgical materials, new materials, agriculture, food, biology, medicine, etc., promote the deep integration of analytical science and related fields, and drive technological innovation and progress in experimental testing technology.

2. Academic influence

In 2016, it was listed as one of the top five highly cited journals  in the field of chemistry, and in 2020 and 2023, it was included in the "Overview of Chinese Core Journals" for two consecutive times, which is a core journal in the fields of chemistry and crystallography. In 2024, it was included in the T2 Classification and Optimization Catalogue of High Quality Science and Technology Journals in the Nonferrous Metals Field, and has been established as an internationally renowned and very important high-level authoritative journal.

Chinese Inorganic Analytical Chemistry has been included in more than 20 comprehensive or professional databases both domestically and internationally:

  • American Chemical Abstracts (CA)
  • EBSCO host
  • Ulrich’s Periodicals DirectoryUPD
  • Russian Abstracts Journal (AJ)
  • Index of Copurnicus (IC)

3. Service Capacity of Scientific and Technological Innovation

Chinese Journal of Inorganic Analytical Chemistry is a carrier of academic achievements and a platform for academic exchange, as well as a window for promoting disciplinary development and cultivating talents. Over the past decade since its establishment, it has helped to enhance innovation leadership, academic organization, talent cohesion, and research service capabilities. Actively assist the organizers in organizing academic exchange conferences and publishing conference albums. For example, the 1-5th National Nonferrous Metal Analysis, Detection and Standardization Technology Seminar (2013-2023, biennial), the 9th International Sampling and Mixing Conference (2019), the 3rd National Soil Analysis Technology Seminar (2023), and the 21st Modern Scientific Instrument Frontier Technology Seminar (2023) of Modern Scientific Instrument Network.

Since 2019, author training courses have been held annually to help science and technology workers improve their writing skills in scientific papers and promote the growth of young talents. In order to serve technological innovation, focusing on facing the forefront of world science and technology, major national needs, and people's health and life, multiple special issues were published from 2022 to 2023, including "Metallomics Methodology and Applications", "Rare(Xiyou in Chinese), Sparse(Xisan in Chinese), Rare Earth(Xitu in Chinese), Rare and Precious(Xigui in Chinese) (Four "Xi" in Chinese) and Strategic Non-metallic Analysis" "Application of Inorganic Analysis Technology in Research on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau" "LIBS Technology Instrument Development and Application" "Elemental Analysis and Application Research in the Agricultural Field", and "Soil Inorganic Analysis Technology and Application" and thus academic exchanges were promoted .

4. Development goals

Chinese Journal of Inorganic Analytical Chemistry focuses on major national strategies and the development direction of inorganic analytical chemistry, condenses scientific issues, improves the forward-looking and readability, inspiration and professionalism, novelty and practicality of the article and thus enhance the level of clustering, digital construction, and core competitiveness.
