Abstract:
      In the paper,the research and recent progress on determination of TFe and other elements in iron ores by fused glass- wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry were reviewed. The selection and preparation of standard samples,the effect of flux composition on sample preparation,the choice of oxidants and release agent,the impact of loss on ignition were summarized. Some suggestions and prospect for this method were also given.
