Abstract:
      A new HPLC method associated with pre-column derivation technique was established to detect trace bromate in water. And the derivation conditions were optimized in this study. The recoveries of the method were in the range of 98% to 105% with the relative standard deviation of less than 1.9% (n=9). Its regression coefficient was 0.9995, and the limit of detection was 1.0 μg/L. This method is simple, fast and reliable, thus meet current requirement for testing a standard.
