Abstract:
A method for the determination of chemical components of mire from steel-making by polarized energy dispersion X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy was proposed. The instrumental operation conditions were optimized. Under the optimal analytical conditions, TFe,SiO2,MgO,Al2O3, P and CaO in real mire samples were determined. The relative standard deviation ( RSD) values (n=11) of 6 components were less than 3%. Chemical components of mire samples were determined. The analytical results obtained by the proposed method were consistent with those by the conventional chemical methods. The method for the determination of TFe etc. in mire from steel-making by polarized energy dispersion X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy is of short cycle and good accuracy. In addition, the method is simple and fast, thus can fully meet requirements for quality control in production .
