Abstract:
A constant-volume and oxygen-circulation combustion method for measurement of collector adsorption on mineral surfaces was studied. This method was compared with traditional solvent-extraction ultraviolet spectrophotometry. The results indicated that the sodium oleate adsorption on the surface of rock phosphate can be more simply and accurately measured by the combustion method than by the spectrophotometry method.
