Abstract:
A new ion chromatography method was established to determine fluorine and chlorine in feed grade zinc sulfate. A certain amount of zinc sulfate was dissolved in ultrapure water. Then the solution passed through 0.22 μm filter membrane and Na filtration column. After the gradient elution with the eluents containing 10 mmol / L to 40 mmol / L hydroxide, the solution was analyzed. The results indicate that the large amount of sulfate ions did not affect the determination of fluoride and chloride. The linear correlation coefficient was above 0.996 and the addition recovery was more than 96%. The method is simple, fast, accurate, and reliable.
