Abstract:
The sample was dissolved by B -HNO3-A and palladium nitrate was used as matrix modifier. The optimal conditions of instrumental analysis were tested and the results as follows: ashing temperatures were 500 ℃ and atomization temperature was 1 800 ℃. Under the optimal conditions, graphite furnace AAS method was successfully applied to determine the trace thallium in zinc concentrates that was used as zinc-matrix material for refining zinc by hydrometallurgical method , calcine, zinc oxide, zinc powder, etc. The results were basically consistent with those by ICP-MS method. The relative standard deviations (RSD, n ≤ 8) were 1.7%~7.8% and the recovery rates were 99%~103%.
