Abstract:
A method for simultaneous determination of seven types of anions in water by ion chromatography was established. After water sample was filtered, it was separated using IonPac AS-19 anion chromatographic column with gradient elution by KOH solution. Afterwards, the amounts of fluoride, chlorite, bromate, chloride, nitrite, chlorate and sulfate were determined using an electrical conductivity detector (ECD). The correlation coefficients for the seven types of anions were more than 0.9988. The recoveries were 91.6% to 108% and RSDs were 0.13%~8.8%. This method has a simple sample pretreatment procedure. Both the degree of separation and the standard addition recovery were relatively high, which met the requirements for the determination of seven types of anions in water.
