| Abstract: |
| Determination of zirconium in steel samples for marine structures use by direct-reading spectrometry was investigated. The standard reference materials were used and through experiments, working curves were also constructed. And thus, the method for analyzing the residual zirconium in the marine structure use steel was established. The method was validated by the analysis of certified reference materials of zirconium. Furthermore, comparison of the results for real samples obtained by spectrometry with that by traditional chemical analysis method indicated that the method can meet the requirement of production and the development of new products. It also broadened the analytical range of direct-reading spectrometry. |
