Abstract:
      A novel method for the determination of chloride ion content in nickel cobalt manganese composite hydroxide by silver chloride turbidimetry was studied. The influence of wavelength,nitric acid volume,precipitant volume and stabilization time were investigated to obtain the optimized test conditions, respectively.The recovery was 95%~103.3%. The analytical results showed that there is a good linear relationship between chloride ion concentration and turbidity value when the chloride ion concentration is in the range of 0~4 μg/mL.The proposed method has been applied to the determination of chloride ion in nickel cobalt manganese composite hydroxide samples with satisfactory results.
