Abstract:
      Determination of eight trace elements in basalt was studied by ICP-AES. The samples were digested with high-pressure closed system by HNO3-HCl- HF. Analytical conditions such as sample pre-treatment, detection limits and spectrum interference of coexisting elements were discussed and optimized. The proposed method was validated by the analysis of certified reference materials (certified sample of basalt, GBW07105) and could meet the requirements of geology and mineral resources development with satisfactory results.
