Abstract:
A rapid analytical method for the determination of Sb in ore, with the contents of Sb from 0.00X to XX%, was established by both polarographic method and atomic absorption spectrometry. The content of Sb could be determined by either of the above-mentioned methods with the linearity ranges 0~30μg/mL in the H2SO4(2%)-HCl(10%) system. The detection limits of polarographic method and atomic absorption spectrometry were 0.01μg/mL and 0.1μg/mL, respectively. The recoveries were in the range of 98~110%, with the relative standard deviations RSD(n=6) 1.5%~5.0%. This method is simple, rapid and accurate, and has been applied to the determination of Sb in mining, mineral and smelting production process control of Sb ore, with satisfactory results.
