Abstract:
The concentrations of 3,3',3'-Nitrilotripropionic?Acid (NTP) were determined by spectrophotometric method based on the interaction between Be(Ⅱ) and NTP.The effects of chelating time, pH and concentration of Be(Ⅱ) on the chelating reaction were investigated. The optimum experimental conditions were obtained as follows: room temperature at 25 ℃, pH=6.0, the chelating time 2 h, NTP and Be(Ⅱ) complex was in a molar ratio of 1:1, and the conditional stability constant (lgK) was 4.35. The results showed that the pH value impacts greatly on the NTP and Be(Ⅱ) complex, and the chelating reaction becomes stable when the reaction solution is weak acid.
