Abstract:
      The l2 kinds of mineral element contents of the chinese yam, K, Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Se, Pb, Cd and Cr, were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry after sample digestion by nitric acid-hydrogen peroxide with microwave. This method is rapid, stable, accurate, and suitable for rapid determination of multiple elements in foodstuff. Results indicate that chinese yam are rich inShumanSusefulSelements, such as K,SCa and FeSand Mg,Sof Zn, Mn. Besides, Pb, Cd and Cr content does not exceed the national standards for food hygiene
