Abstract: |
The composition and conditional stability constants of 3,3",3""-NitrilotripropionicSAcid and Be2 have been determined by molar ratio method and Job’s method on the Hitachi UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The stoichiometric ratio of NTP to Be2 in the chromophoric complex was determined to be 1:1. The conditional stability constant was lgK=4.35, indicating that NTP and Be2 complex is a complex of medium stability. The absorption spectra of the complex achieved remained unchanged after mixing at least 2 hours. In competition with the H , NTP is good sequestering agent at pH 4.5-6 for Be2 . |
