Abstract: |
A method has been established for the determination of gold in crude selenium by carbon adsorption-fire atomic absorption spectrometry. The effects of the sample weight, dissolving conditions and ashing of activated carbon on determination of the gold were examined, and the determination of gold in crude selenium by fire atomic absorption spectrometry method and fire assay method has been compared. The relative standard deviations of the determination result by fire atomic absorption spectrometry method and fire assay method were 1.26%~5.94% and 0.91%~7.81%,respectively. The recoveries of standard addition were 93.1%~100.7% and 94.8%~102.2%, respectively. The results show that this method has better precision and accuracy, and has been practical. |
