Abstract:
A method has been developed for determination of contents of TiO2、TFe、P、SiO2、Al2O3、MnO、CaO、Cr2O3、MgO、ZrO2、HFO2 in rutile ores by wavelength dispersion X-ray fluorescence spectrometrv. The samples were fused into test portion with the mixture flux of Li2B4O7-LiBO2(67 33) at 1150℃ for 90 s. The sample-flux ratio was set at the proportion of 14:1. The fused glass slices were proved to be homogeneous, strengthful and with a good shape. The method was applied to the determination of real rutile ore samples, and the measured values were in a good agreement with the reference values or the values determined by chemical methods. The relative standard deviation (RSD, n=10) of all other analytes were less than 2%, except of P 3.8% and Al2O3 2.8%.
