Abstract:
A method for the determination of Al, As, Cu, Mg, Pb and Zn in copper magnetite was developed by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). The sample was determined by ICP-AES with Al 396.152 nm, Ni 216.555 nm, Cu 324.754 nm, Mg 285.213 nm, Pb 220.353 nm and Zn 213.857 nm as analysis lines. The detection limits were less than 0.01 μg/mL. The comparison tests showed that the results obtained by ICP-AES were consistent with those obtained by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The recoveries were in the range of 94%~105% with the relative standard deviations (RSD,n=6) less than 5%. This method could meet the requirements of daily analysis of impurity elements in copper magnetite.
