Abstract:
      The sample solution containing 2%~3% aqua regia was obtained after the samples were decomposed by mixed acid of HCl and HNO3. The contents of iron in geochemical samples were determined by ICP-OES under the optimized conditions. The relative standard deviation(RSD,n=12) was 0.41%~1.6%.The precision and accuracy of the method could meet the requirement of the test quality management standard of geology and mineral resources of laboratory (chemical composition analysis of regional geochemical survey samples). The method is suitable for the determination of iron in geochemical sample for batch analysis, and it has been applied for practical work with satisfactory results.
