| After more than ten years of operation, DV-6SN metal direct reading optical spectrometer had several problems in both hardware and software. In hardware, the instrument cannot work normally due to ageing equipment, continuous equipment failure rate and parts shortages. In software, it cannot meet the requirement of detection data information. Therefore, this paper discussed and modified the hardware and software of DV-6SN metal direct reading optical spectrometer, mainly including updating the computer control system and data acquisition system, replacing of the vacuum pump, localizing other failure accessories and equipping newly development software for spectral analysis. On the premise of not reducing the accuracy, these improvement measures can not only ensure the instrument work normally, but also improve work efficiency, make old spectrometer device obtained new life and achieve complete information and digital management. |
