Abstract:
The method for the determination of germanium content in cobalt white alloy by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) was established. The experimental conditions were studied and optimized. The detection limit is 0.043 g/mL. The determination results for germanium in cobalt white alloy were in accordance with another determination method. The relative standard deviation was between 1.07% and 1.91% (n=7). The recovery of standard addition was between 98.5% and 102.1%. Keywords inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry; cobalt white alloy; germanium
