Abstract:
The pigments and fillers in interior and exterior wall coatings were digested by two different pretreatment methods. and a method for the determination of Ti,Ca,Zn,Mg and Si in interior and exterior wall coatings by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) was developed. Experimental parameters, such as the detection limits, the influencing factors in sample preparation and testing process and the precisions, were discussed in this paper. The results showed that the relative standard deviation (RSD,n=10) was less than 5%. The proposed method has high accuracy , and it is suitable for the requirement of rapid detection of Ti,Ca,Zn,Mg and Si in interior and exterior wall coatings.
