Abstract:
A new method for determining eight kinds of impurity elements including Ca, Mg, Cu, Pb, Zn, As, Sb, Bi in tin concentrate by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) was reported. A sample digesting method was reasonably selected. Analytical line for each element, matrix and the interference between analyzed elements were discussed. The sample was digested by nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and perchloric acid. For this method, matrix effect is small, and there are almost no interference between each analyzed element. The results were in good agreement with those obtained by national standard method. The results were satisfactory with the relative standard deviations in the range of 1.3%~3.3%(n=11) and the recovery rates in the range of 96.0%~105%. This method can meet the requirement for accurate and efficient analysis of impurity elements in tin concentrates in real work.
