Abstract: |
In this article, we determined the concentrations of lead(Pb), cadmium(Cd), iron(Fe), copper(Cu) and tin(Sn) in zinc ingots by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES). The samples were dissolved by nitric acid(1+1), and then the above-mentioned elements were measured in diluted nitric acid medium. The relative standard deviations(RSDs, n=3) were all less than 1.7%. The determination results were consistent with those of the certified reference materials of zinc (BYG0505). With this proposed method, multiple impurity elements in zinc ingots can be simultaneously analyzed with good accuracy and fast speed. |
