Abstract:
      method for the determination of phosphorus in silver-copper alloy by precipitation separation-ICP-AES was established. Analytical conditions, including precipitation separation of silver chloride and copper sulfide, selection of spectral lines and determination conditions of ICP-AES were systematically investigated. The results showed that the concentrations of silver and copper ions were less than 0.1 mg/L and 1 mg/L, respectively. Cu interferencecould be neglected. The detection limit was 0.076mg/L when the instrument power was 1.3 kW and P 213.617 nm was used as the analytical line. The contents of Phosphorus in silver-copper alloy were determinedas0.00092%—0.0032%.The relative standard deviation (RSD,n=7) and the recoverywere 5.3%—1.7% and 94.4%—103%, respectively. The method is simple, rapid, and has been applied to production analysis.
