Abstract:
      A method for the determination of three fluorescent whitening agents (FWAs) (VBL, CBS, CXT) in mushroom by high performance liquid chromatography was developed. The sample was extracted with ethanol-water (V/V=1/2) solution by static extraction of water for 15min at 50 ℃. The HPLC method was performed on a column of ThermoFisher Accucore C18 (250 mm×4.6 mm, 2.6 μm) with elution using 20 mmol/L ammonium acetate (65%) and acetonitrile (35%) as the mobile phases with the flow rate of 0.8 mL/min. The target analytes showed good linearity in the range of 0.01—10 μg/mL with the correlation coefficients (r2) greater than 0.997. The recoveries were in the range between 79%—90%.
