Abstract: |
F-, Cl-, NO2-, Br-, NO3-, I- and SO42- in water were determined by simultaneous conductance-ultraviolet ion chromatography. Sample was separated with TSK gel guard column Suppe IC-Anion HS guard column and TSK gel Suppe IC-Anion HS separation column. NaHCO3 (2.0 mmol/L)-Na2CO3(3.0 mmol/L) was selected as mobile phase with the flow rate of 1.5 mL/min and column temperature of 40 ℃. Inhibitory conductance and ultraviolet, which are connected in series, were adopted as the combined detection sensor. F-, Cl-, Br-and SO42- were detected by a conductance detector, while NO2-, NO3- and I- were detected using an ultraviolet detector. For 7 kind of anions, this method showed good linearity over a wide analysis range with correlation coefficients greater than 0.999. Pure drinking water and seawater were selected as the authentic samples for quantitative analysis and the recovery of the standard addition. The addition recoveries were in the range of between 92.8%—107%, and RSD (n=6) was found in the range of 0.89% —5.7%. This method provides as fast analysis speed, low detection limit and good precision; and is suitable for practical applications. |
