Abstract: |
The praparation method and property of a electrographic gel style all-state-Ag/AgCl reference electrode(ASRE) were studied, and the electrographic gel was consisting of AgCl-KCl-polyvinyl alcohol-agar. The ASRE cooperatedSwith pH glass electrode was used for the determination of pH of phosphate buffered solution in the range of pH 2.00~12.00, the results were compared with saturated calomel electrode(SCE) as RE, relative errors(Er) were -0.8% ~ 0.8%. The ASRE cooperatedSwith chloride ion selective electrode was used for the determination of Cl- in the range of concentretions 1.000×10-1~1.000×10-4 mol/L, the electromotive force(△E) has a linear relationship with -lgc(Cl-) with the slope of -49.3, coincidental with -49.9 when SCE as RE. The ASRE can straighway be used for determination of Cl- withoutSdouble salt bridge. In the range of temperature 10~80℃, △E were linear with T, and the temperature coefficient was 0.123 mV/℃. It is expected that the ASRE can be used for off-line or on-line detection. |
