Abstract:
Instrument analysis, when the element content changes greatly, part of the low content and high content of sample is hard to get ideal results. Through the use of multiple calibration curve to enlarge the dynamic range of element measurement. On the AES-8000 full spectrum ac/dc arc emission spectrometer, using this method to test the different content of plumbum elements in the geological samples, and the results show that the measured Plumbum content is closer to the recommended value, i.e. the accuracy is better. In order to broaden the dynamic range, the sample is measured by the first curve of high sensitivity, if the concentration is greater than the conversion value, measured by the second curve of low sensitivity. Cohesion between two curves should be fully considered, the conversion value should be in the linear part of the two curves. Using multiple calibration curve method, setting reasonable conversion value, the high and low content of samples of ideal test results can be obtained at the same time.
