Abstract:
The influence of the acidity conditions and coexisting ions on the determination with spectrophotometric method of 1,10-Diazaphenanthren were studied. A method for the determination of iron in metal silicon by 1,10-diazophenanthrene spectrophotometric method was established in this paper. The experimental results show that the absorbance linearity of iron is good in the iron concentration range from 0.50μg/ml to 5.0μg/ml and in HAC-NaAC buffer solution pH range from 4 to 6. The linear regression equation is y=0.00140 x (g/100ml)+0.0003, R2=0.9999. Other coexisting ions do not interfere with the determination in the test solution. The results of determination of iron in two metal silicon samples by experimental method are basically consistent with those by ICP-AES and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. The results of determination of iron in samples and standard samples by experimental methods in six different laboratories are in agreement with the standard values. The method has been applied to the determination iron ranges from 0.053% to 0.77% in real samples, which relative standard deviation (RSD, n=22) was 1.27%-2.45%.
