Abstract:
      A method was established for the determination of magnesium oxide content in silver concentrate by inductively coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry after the samples were directly digested by adding mixed acids (5mL hydrofluoric acid, 5mL nitric acid, 5mL hydrochloric acid and 1mL perchloric acid), and extracted by 10 mL(1:1) HCL.The detection limit and determination limit of the method were 0.0016% and 0.0064% respectively,and it was verified by national standard substance GBW07164, and the relative error was 0.43%.In the actual sample analysis, the relative standard deviation (RSD, n=6) of the method was less than 4% compared with the standard method of flame atomic absorption spectrometry, and the analysis results were consistent. The method is simple, rapid and accurate with satisfactory results.
