Abstract:
An analytical method for determination of gold, silver, platinum and palladium in high nickel matte by fire assay-inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) has been established. The experiment made use of fire assay to enrich, melt and cupel to obtain the composite particles, and the silver content was obtained by the impurity reduction method, and the gold, platinum and palladium content were determined by the ICP-AES method. The recoveries of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium were 99.53%-101.83%, and the relative standard deviation was less than 3%. This method is fast, concise, and has high accuracy and good precision, which can meet the determination requirements of high nickel matte.
