Abstract:
      A method for the determination of cobalt, copper and manganese in cobalt concentrate by wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence spectrometry was established. The artificial standard sample was prepared by melting high-purity oxides with lithium tetraborate and lithium metaborate. The calibration curve was made with ytterbium oxide as internal standard. The results show that the calibration curve of each element has a wide linear range, the correlation coefficient is greater than 0.999, and the detection limits of cobalt, copper and manganese are 0.002%, 0.001% and 0.001% respectively. The test accuracy and precision are reliable, and the method meets the needs of the industry.
