Abstract:
Digital Image Colorimetry(DIC) constructed using a smartphone and a small wooden box was completed the rapid detection of hexavalent chromium concentration in water environment. The method mainly utilized a smartphone to simultaneously perform illumination, image acquisition and data processing on chromogenic solution to detect rapidly and quantitatively hexavalent chromium. The method had a good linear range of hexavalent chromium concentration of 0.05—0.80 mg/L, the linear equation was y=127.939x+73.181, and the correlation coefficient was 0.994. The reproducibility of the method was investigated and the two mass concentration samples were tested, which the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.5—5.5%. At the same time, the working curve of Digital Image Colorimetry was linearly fitted with the national standard spectrophotometry, and the linear fitting coefficient was 0.995. The samples were detected by this method and spectrophotometry, and the results were basically consistent, which proved the reliability and accuracy of the method.
