Abstract:
Gold in gold ores was determined by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry with thiourea elution enriched by polyurethane foam. The working conditions such as sample weight, thiourea elution time, adsorption effect of tributyl phosphate and interference of iron were optimized, the technical problems such as low adsorption efficiency of foam plastics and interference of iron elements were solved. The precision and accuracy of the analysis results are improved, The method has made up for the shortage of traditional foam plastics enrichment and flame atomic absorption spectrometry for the determination of gold content in gold ores. The determination limit of the method was 0.06 μg/g for Au and the determination content range was of 0.2 μg/g~100 μg/g, The determination results are in good agreement with the standard values, and there is no significant difference, the precision of the method was less than 2% (RSD, n = 9). The method has the advantages of rapidity, simplicity and practicality. The analysis error meets the requirements of conventional chemical analysis method, and can meet the rapid and accurate determination of gold in gold ore.
