氧化还原法处理铁氧体磁粉中的六价铬

中文摘要: 六价铬是一种具有强氧化性和高毒性的重金属化合物。本文分析铁氧体磁粉工序中六价铬的产生来源,利用氧化还原法将六价铬还原成三价铬,研究了不同还原剂对铁氧体磁粉六价铬处理的效果。实验结果表明,铁氧体磁粉六价铬主要在回火工序中产生;硫酸亚铁、硫代硫酸钠、草酸亚铁都能作为还原剂降低六价铬,其中硫代硫酸钠的处理效果最好,添加量为0.3%~0.8%时可以将六价铬降低到10 mg/kg以下。当添加量大于0.8%时,继续增加硫代硫酸钠,六价铬含量反而增加;硫酸亚铁的处理效果居中;而草酸亚铁的处理效果较差,需要添加量达到1.2%才能将六价铬含量降到10 mg/kg以下。从经济成本考虑,硫酸亚铁、硫代硫酸钠复合添加可以有效降低磁粉的六价铬,具有更高的性价比优势和实用性;氧化还原法对铁氧体磁粉的磁性能影响较小。本文实验氧化还原法不仅有效降低了铁氧体磁粉中的六价铬含量,确保其稳定达到行业标准,同时还能有效控制成本提升质量,为整个行业提供了可借鉴的解决方案,对工业生产和污染治理六价铬具有重要的指导意义。

Abstract:Hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) is a heavy metal compound with strong oxidizing property and high toxicity. This work analyzes the sources of Cr(VI) generation in the ferrite magnetic powder process. By utilizing the oxidation-reduction method to reduce Cr(VI) to Cr(III), the effects of different reducing agents on the treatment of Cr(VI) in ferrite magnetic powder were investigated. Experimental results indicate that Cr(VI) in ferrite magnetic powder is primarily generated during the tempering process. Ferrous sulfate, sodium thiosulfate, and ferrous oxalate can all serve as reducing agents to reduce Cr(VI) to Cr(III). Among them, sodium thiosulfate exhibits the best treatment effect, the content of Cr(VI) is down to below 10 mg/kg when added at a concentration of 0.3%~0.8%. When the addition amount is greater than 0.8%, continuing to increase sodium thiosulfate actually increases the content of Cr(VI). The treatment effect of ferrous sulfate is moderate. Whereas the treatment effect of ferrous oxalate is relatively poor, requiring an addition amount of 1.2% to reduce the hexavalent chromium content below 10 mg/kg. Considering economic cost, the combined addition of ferrous sulfate and sodium thiosulfate can effectively reduce Cr(VI) in magnetic powder, offering higher cost-effectiveness and practicality. The oxidation-reduction method has little effect on the magnetic property of ferrite magnetic powder. The oxidation-reduction method in this work not only effectively reduces the Cr(VI) content in ferrite magnetic powder, ensuring it consistently meets industry standards, but also effectively controls costs and enhances quality. It provides a reference solution for the entire industry and has significant guiding significance for the treatment of Cr(VI) in industrial production and pollution control.
