Abstract:
There are some problems in the determination of the mineral components in silicate by traditional chemical analysis methods, which include complicated operation process, long analysis cycle, large labor intensity and analysis result dependence on analysis person and reagents. In this paper, an energy dispersive X- ray fluorescence spectrometric method for the determination of principal component content of silicate was established. A domestic made energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyzer was used to simultaneously analyze ten main components in silicate. In the analysis process, the mixture of Li2B4O7 and LiBO2 were used as flux and NH4NO3 was used as oxidizer to make glass fuse piece by molten treatment. The satisfactory results were obtained and indicated that the accuracy and precision of the method can meet standard requirement.
