Abstract:
A zirconia modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared. The electrochemical behavior of quercetin at this modified electrode was investigated using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The results showed that in the phosphate buffered solution (PBS) with pH =7.00,the electrode brought about obvious catalytic effect on the oxidation-reduction reaction of quercetin. The oxidation peak current of quercetin was chosen as the analytical signal. The intensity of the oxidation peak current has a good linearity with the concentration of quercetin in the concentration range of 2.5×10-8~5×10-5 mol/L. The regression equation was ip(μA) = 0.0825c-9.86184 and the detection limit is 5.35×10-9 mol/L.
