Abstract: |
In China, heavy metal pollution in agricultural soils is very serious, especially arsenic and cadmium (As/Cd) co-contamination in paddy soil. Compared with other food crops, rice has a stronger ability to accumulate As/Cd, and As/Cd in rice enters human body through the food chain and causes harm to human health. Therefore, it is of great significance to repair As/Cd compound contaminated paddy soil and reduce rice As/Cd content to ensure the safety of food production. In this paper, a review is presented to show the current situation and harm of As/Cd co-contamination in farmland, the influencing factors of As/Cd effectiveness and the absorption and transport mechanism of As/Cd in rice were discussed, and then discussed the remediation methods of As/Cd pollution in paddy fields in detail. Finally, the shortcomings and prospects of the current restoration technology are proposed to provide some guidance for the remediation of As/Cd compound contaminated paddy soil. |
